Orange Hindu spiritual, cultural center welcomes all to grand opening

When Vani Anand stands on the wooded property at 393 Derby Ave. that is the new home for a Hindu learning and spirituality center, it takes her back to India.
“It reminds us of the ashram at the foothills of the Himalayas,” said Anand, a founding member and local resident. “We adore it.”
The Chinmaya Saraswati Ashram — former home to a seminary — is set away from the main road, in a quiet, wooded, hilly setting that even has a sparkling stream..........
