Mandalaabhishekam

Mandalaabhishekam is a very auspicious puja after vigraha pranapratithapanam. It is says said that the blessings are manifold and similar to, if not more than, kumbhaabhisekham.

This rare opportunity is present before us. For 48 days starting July 3, our priest will be doing Mandalaabhishekam of Saraswati Mata every day morning and evening. If you want to take the benefit of this once-a-life-time opportunity, please consider sponsoring the puja.
Sponsorship is $51 for single puja, $751 for all 48 days.
Here are the timings of the daily abhishekam and Taila Kapu:

Morning: 9:00am - 12noon -- Abishekam

Evening: 5:30pm - 8pm -- Taila Kapu (oil bath)

Our Priest Pandit Kashyapji requested that devotees can bring items for abhishekam - milk, yogurt, honey, ghee and sugar. A few of our bala vihar families have brought in prasaadam (Ksheera Annam, etc.).

The Hindu goddess of learning was surely smiling down upon the town Sunday.
After a weekend of activities that drew hundreds of Hindus and community members, the Chinmaya Saraswati Ashram was officially opened at 393 Derby Ave.The Chinmaya movement is about spirituality and helping others, the Ashram is the building and Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of learning. She always holds a musical instrument and has a peacock in the background.....The mission is also about harmony and helping others and “producing more than what we consume and giving more than what we take,” according to the group’s literature...........
